Radio K-ICE

On Saturday night 7 people played hot dice and oh hell. We talked our way through dinner instead of eating it. For the most part. We did eat some of the amazing soup and then there was the cheese and the chocolate chip cookies but I digress.

We met the small hours of Sunday in the Blackbox Shanty mostly warm and enjoying the life on the lake.

Viewed from the Studio a game of cribbage in progress. The way people work out the actions of the game are very interesting to collect. One group was heard to have tripled their score each time to make the game more manageable. They were pegging 90 points at a time. That would be 90 feet on the ice and how did they score 30 points I wonder as the game goes on.

Breakfast was oatmeal. I made it lumpy, others added water to it to make it more runny. We had crossed that point where food tastes good because we we so far from a real kitchen. Like one gets with camping food when camping.
